I am very happy about the results of this election

At least the ones I had my small say about in here in Oregon.

Merkley won.
Blumenauer won.
Kitzhaber won.
Weed won.

I had absolutely no control about anything else, so I'm not going to eat myself alive worrying about those things.

Oregon will be sending some decent people to D.C., our governor is not a total shithead, and I can start growing weed legally next summer. (Edited to include fredamae's correction below.)

State House/Senate also picked up Dem Seats.

And to the Best of my understanding-M91 does not go into effect until July 2015 with sales commencing Legally in early 2016

Watch for public meeting notices regarding the rules making processes if you want to give input about How M91 "rolls out".

On edit:

I went back and re-read the measure, and it looks like you're right.

Well, I'll just have to postpone my first harvest from St. Patrick's Day to Halloween.

it was a statewide defeat-even the GOP here rejected it roundly.
Oregonians don't want anyone messing with our elections process. Period. On that folks from all sides agree.
I actually listened to why CA voters are unhappy with it...So thank you!
