Disappointed, but not crying

The election is disappointing. There were some tough races...oh well.

I'm not crying because Obamacare saved my husband's life and I got my first paycheck (enough for gas) for the first time in four years.

Things are looking up.

Thanks to all who welcomed me back.

Everyone, have a good day.

we will not do reason.

late 90's, 2000 we really went into duality/polarization. and i feel we are right there, to see the answer. lol. and that means dem officials bucking up. and our youth. and women. and fuggin do it.

anyway, in our house. we are looking at this from the experience of, where might it take us, and what do we need to do to address. we are all in positions where this very much effects our personal and day to day lives.

the rich has stripped us down, so bare, that is where we are setting without nets.

Kudos to Mark Warner and Gerry Connelly. Connelly's win was solid, but Warner barely squeaked out a win over Eron's Lobbyist, Ed Gillespie. The transportation bond and a State Constitution measure won also. Wish the rest of you went 4 for 4 too.

If Repukes make things far worse, they are setting the stage for us to take 2016.

Whatever happens in the next two years is squarely on the shoulders of the Conservatives and the Wingnut Teabaggers.

You are most awesome and most aggravating, but there were many who missed you so you are valued here.

But....enjoy your coverage now, make the calls to the congress critters when necessary but most of all don't worry about it until it happens. It may not happen as the entire system is one ball of yarn now and would be hard to untangle. In the meantime you are stressing your mind and body, which you clearly do not need!

On a weird note if we send out the words ' I will continue to suffer' into the universe we risk getting just that, suffering. I am so happy that you have found doctors that can give you some relief! : ) It is good to have people who can help!

Congrats on the paycheck and hoping your husband's health is no longer a major worry.

President Obama still has the power of the pen and that of executive orders and I think he will use both to protect Obamacare, restrict the worst of the repub's actions while addressing immigration within his executive powers.

As to the repubs, I hope they implode with even more nutcases like Ernst et al working to take them even further right than they already are. With holding the power in both the House and Senate, they will be front and center for two years, two years to show how extreme they are before the 2016 election.

And glad for those updates on your life.

You got your first paycheck in 4 years - Obamacare saved your husband's life.

That's hope and change that energizes me! :

I've decided - nothing is getting done the next two years - so I'm just focused on 2016.

I'm still waiting for TX, MO, OK, KS, AZ and the ENTIRE South to secede so we can get going on that BORDER FENCE.

The IGNORANT SOUTH must secede! They just might have the votes and enough IGNORANCE to do just that!

It may take a while longer, but it is happening. The important step to take is to get these new potential voters to actually vote. It's hard enough to get current eligible voters registered and to the polls, but there is where the focus must be.

Secession is not realistic, and therefore not an option.

36. This should be a lesson for all Dems running away from their President
Wed Nov 5, 2014, 02:29 PM
Nov 2014

Each and every senators or house members who ran away from the president lost. Each and every gubernatorial candidate who swayed away from democratic ideologies were defeated. In midterms, you don't look for the moderates, you vie for the party loyalists who will show up to vote. If all of them touted Obama's successes, all of them might have won. Heck, what else could have been worse than losing with your head held high as a proud democrat?

One other tip is that Dems now need to broaden their candidate pool with minorities. If the rethugs put a minority candidate, he/she wins big. We need to put minority candidates in place of white guys against minority rethugs. We need the electorate to know that these minority rethugs will be a puppet to Kochs and that will do it.
