The Health care Law and the Election Results

One thing that has me mad about the election results in that some people in Arkansas and Kentucky are benefiting from the Health care law and yet these people voted for politicians who want to repeal the law.

Why are Democrats going through all this trouble helping people like this if they are just going to vote against them?

I thought after the ACA was in affect for about a year the desire of people in red states to repeal the law would subside and the Democrats would achieve at least a small political benefit.

Instead the people in these states nearly in unison voted for the Republican Party.

If they are going to make it difficult for the ACA to exist give them what they want. Let states opt out entirely from the ACA if they want.

There is only so much you can do and I don't think it's worth Democrats carrying this political burden to help people who are not going to vote for them anyway.

I'm not sure they fully understand the repercussions, maybe now they will.

Repukes will be careful though to keep the blame on Obama even as they slash away at ACA.
