After 6 years of obstruction to the 28 billion dollar shut down, they still don't see it. These people need their healthcare taken away to "maybe" wake them up. I don't want to think like that, but I'm tired of those who just don't think. Why should the rest of us have to put up with states that are still in the 19th century. I wonder if Obama could implement Medicare for all through an executive order. Let them try and take that away.

social safety net when they cast their ballot for a GOTPer - but only for "those others", thinking - for some strange reason - that theirs will be left alone.

What these myopia-prone voters don't understand is, their elitist candidates in the GOP can't pass legislation targeting one single group. That would be unconstitutional. If legislation passes that makes deep cuts in social security, medicare, medicaid, etc., they, too, will be affected. But paramount in everything is their deep-seated hatred for all things not White 'Murican is trying to deny benefits to minorities every which way they can, and that's why they continue to vote against their own self interests.

because they believe they will become one of the billionaires who don't need Social Security and Medicare and will be those who will benefit from those tax breaks.
