I'm cutting off financial support to Texass...

I had a paint job done on the house from a guy who moved to Texas because he didn't want his wife to "drive to El Paso"...
Ok, he started jerking me around and today was the last straw. He said he would include my gates in the job but suddenly
has decided he wants to charge me.

Well, he's bullshitted me before, delaying some little bits of touch up stuff until he finishes other jobs. No more. Now he's coming Friday.

Well, I got off the phone and and called up the fantastic gate people who installed the gates years ago. One needs to be adjusted and they will come out, do a any repairs, take the gates off and custom paint in a gorgeous rustic, dark bronze, a two step process for durability with the special black paint follow by the color that will do the brown effect. This will match the new outdoor light shades.

...this, instead of the spray paint job the Texass guy was planning to do....

SO, he'll come, do the work left and I will tell me to forget about the gates. I'd rather pay the real pros who are LOCAL here in NM!

And, we had discussed painting the house interior...

Well, that's off, too! No money going into the pockets of Texass guys if I can help it, if they are screwing around with me and if there are people here in NM I can support!

El Paso County voted 66% straight ticket Democrat.

They went 67% for O'Rourke.

They went 79% for Gallego.

In fact, El Paso County is bluer than the state of New Mexico.

5. Well, remember, he did screw me around!

He basically strung my job along for months, after not quite finishing up all...got two jobs from me, including the house next door which he just finished, with the promise of being here next. Yes, we had a couple of day of crappy weather, but today, I fully expected him to show up.
When started changing the deal, THAT's when I got very pissed!

Also, he is a native New Mexican, does his work here, but he's taking my money back to Texass. So, I'm just fed up with him and his whole schtick....

That's the silliest thing I've read in a while. My mom recently got her house painted, by someone in Texas and it was great! Did exactly what they said they'd do.
