Sad period indeed.

He pulled our ass out of the fire, it could have been a period of enlightenment, another FDR period of true progress.

Single payer healthcare .. Putting big banksters in jail .. Pardon Don Siegalman? He's no FDR. But what he has been able to accomplish under such push back from the right is amazing. Republicans are disgusting.

Besides, he never ran on an extreme progressive agenda. Never would have been elected. I think history will be very good to PBO.

Can you image President Palin? Obstruction 24/7 and he has accomplished a lot even though some here constantly complain. I guess another GOP president will make them happy.

He is a Christian, and I don't give a s*** what the so called "Christians (devils) say.

(Link didn't work so didn't read the specifics.)

I'm thinking arguably the best President since FDR considering the difficult circumstances he inherited and has largely overcome despite endless obstructionism. If FDR had been plotted against and deliberately blocked at every turn by selfish, petulant extremists in Congress the way Obama has, they might well have been tried for treason or sedition.

Once the older Fox news viewers die off and the younger generation gets older his "real" reputation will be what people judge him by.
