(7,759 posts)and citizens are tweeting how alarmed they are to find that these KKK are teachers, police, church officials. Some have vowed to never do business in places owned by them or controlled by them.
Really, although NSA and other Fed agencies may be spying on citizens, they cannot..and should not...divulge names, addresses, phone numbers etc. They can't do that but Anonymous surely can...and I love it!! Ferguson residents who are paying attention are spreading the word and these KKK parasites will either have to go underground or leave the area.

(81,220 posts)From women's health care providers to Michael Moore - their home addresses and phone numbers, work contact info, photos (they ran photos of Michael Moore's HOUSE on the internet!!!), names of their spouses and children, etc.
So I say all's fair. FAIR GAME, as kkkarl rove said about outing Valerie Plame to get revenge on her husband Joe Wilson for blowing the lid off the purported Nigerian yellow cake suppliers to Saddam Hussein. FAIR GAME BACK ATCHA.
Taste of their own medicine. See how they like it. Sure beats fighting a gun fight armed with a feather duster!

(111,245 posts)Well, most of the time. I especially love them when they remove KKK hoods and reveal the inbred pantywaists hiding under them.
Back in the 1950s, Klansmen in the south were ordinary, boring bidnessmen who'd come out for the major meetings just to show they belonged but avoid the violent bullshit. I remember friends' daddies with the regalia in the closet. They weren't especially bad men, they just needed to do business in that town. The regalia was almost gone by the mid 60s as it finally became a liability as migration to the south meant they had to do their bidness with more than just southerners, especially in the big cities.
These days the only people in the Klan are opportunistic politicians leading gangs of bigoted, angry no hope men and women. It's good to out them, but don't expect them to be ashamed. They are incapable of it.
It would be better to let the Klan die of utter uselessness, but that's going to take a few more generations to happen.

(1,076 posts)Thanks to the Guys and Gals of Anonymous. I sure want to read more, but I don't want anyone in the anonymous to be revealed. They did some good work in Ohio. Better than the POS SoS.

(45,984 posts)Radical right losers are the brown shirts of right wing billionaires like the Koch brothers. How many tea partiers are also KKK? When ALEC models legislation to prevent poor people from voting, it exposes radical right wing billionaires, specifically the Koch brothers, as the sponsors of racism. The Koch brothers are Grand Dragons on a global theater. Whether their followers wear white sheets or plaid flannel shirts, whether their followers burn crosses or disrupt town hall meetings discussing health care, the Koch brothers are the focus of the most dangerous terrorist organization in the world, one that threaten to turn the planet into a toxic waste dump to fill their bank accounts.
When right wing billionaires like the Koch brothers talk about "real Americans," they are simply trying to divide us and prevent us from moving against the entitled 1%, who are the real not real Americans. They are traitors seeking to harvest America and then trash it, leaving the American people impoverished and sick. All Americans are people and no one is a person who is not made of flesh and blood. Those who say corporations are people should be compelled to take a remedial biology class. Corporations are not people, and no majority of shysters on the Supreme Court can make them so.
Americans, unite! Cast off your white sheets and join together as brothers and sisters in the struggle for democracy.

(38,613 posts)I think the KKK is one of the most vile collections of human beings to ever walk this Earth, but I'm rather creeped out by this vigilante business
Even if anonymous is 100% correct in their assessments, I still don't feel good about posting people's personal information online.
I know I'm in the minority and will probably get flamed to high heaven, but that's my immediate reaction to this.

Me, I'm of two minds about this. Would I like it if the KKK -- for whatever reason -- tried to out me. No. I don't know that this is entirely defensible then. At the same, It sure is "fun" to see the KKK squirming.
