I'm guessing he's got some kind of VA compensation or is waiting (a long time) for it. But, unless you're 100% service connected, your compensation won't be all that much. I had to wait years, and I was lucky my husband was there with emotional and financial support until the VA finally coughed up or I would have had absolutely no way to support myself and the only other child I had left living at home with me. I sure hope this young man gets a disability compensation award that's enough to support him and his family. Or god help him if he got one already and it wasn't enough.

When troops get killed, republicans don't give a shit.
