Is Richard Engel at NBC at risk from ISIS?

I worry about this a lot. He is a prominent foreign correspondent, well known to the whole world. He is in some dangerous areas, and given who he is, it is hard for him to blend in. He is also Jewish.

including him, who appear to seek out war zones. I think there is almost an adrenalin rush for them to be in the thick of things. I am sure he is at risk but he choses to work in war zones.

Engel had been kidnapped once already and knows the risk. I hope that he is very careful

He a such a mensch, too. He's had many a close call and I hope his luck doesn't run out. There comes a time you need to thank your lucky stars and move on to something else. Several years ago I read an article about war correspondents (Vanity Fair, I think) in which journalists reported feeling addicted to the thrill of war reporting. They return to home and safety then begin to itch for action again.
