I hope that's a prescient headline. Labor may turn out to be a positive force in this. It sounds like this man gets it.
Our brother killed our sisters son, Trumka said in a speech to a group of union members in St. Louis on Sept. 16, using the sibling nomenclature that union members use to refer to one another. (Both Wilson and Browns mother, Lesley McSpadden, are union members.) Acknowledging the powerful tension that Ferguson evokes, Trumka said the United States must address its legacy of violent policing of African-Americans, poverty and racialized economic injustice. Trumka says the fight for safety and just treatment for people of color, who constitute a large proportion of AFL-CIO members, should be a priority on unions list of policy demands.

He has the backing of millions of working class behind him and he knows his shit when it comes to the balance between labor and capital

It's so nice to find something positive amid all of the propaganda and hysteria! "our brother shot our sister's son" is one of the the starkest truths in this.

union members. It is a sad, sad situation with some folks.
