Buffalo snow storm so deep the pressure broke down doors and windows!

Some doors were just blocked:





Some were smashed right down!





People had to dig their way out, creating a tunnel from their door and through their yard:




Just WOW!

I've seen our deck look just like the first pic, with Mr. PotatoChip standing high above me shoveling the stuff, while I stood in the doorway. But that was just an accumulation of a couple of storms, fortunately.

I don't have a pic of it, but here is one from the same year. From google images (hope that is ok).

200+ inches of (accumulated) snow looks like this:

After today, may be a top 3.

Am glad I live on the other side of the state at the moment. Snow is nice and all, but yeesh!
