Buffalo snow storm so deep the pressure broke down doors and windows!

7. There are cabins in Michigan's Northern Peninsula where you have to dig down to the roof hatch.

8. Ouch! I've seen it that bad here, but not in one storm.

I've seen our deck look just like the first pic, with Mr. PotatoChip standing high above me shoveling the stuff, while I stood in the doorway. But that was just an accumulation of a couple of storms, fortunately.

I don't have a pic of it, but here is one from the same year. From google images (hope that is ok).

I've never seen anything like this happen so quickly

11. Not a first, but certainly a top 5 lake effect snow event for the area.

After today, may be a top 3.

Am glad I live on the other side of the state at the moment. Snow is nice and all, but yeesh!
