(34,648 posts)I'd prefer her to just go if she doesn't like it. It protects people like me, who would not have been considered a citizen as a descendant of slaves and and various Tribes. I suppose she'd like to go back to the whites only rules we had for citizenship back in her nostalgic dreamworld.
People that want to time travel upset me when they try to take the rest of us back with them.
I wish we could swap people like her out for immigrants we are deporting that want to be here. I'd feel safer.

(21,130 posts)Jindal's parents were not legal and his Mother got pregnant in Asia and he is an anchor baby. And Cruz was born in Canada to a Cuban father who ended up getting naturalized. Even though his Mother was American then how come President Obama who's mother was American and he was born here is illegal in Laura Ignoramous view.
