(1,827 posts)This is a major issue. Maybe they'll lose some advertising bucks, but the good of the nation SHOULD come first.
Absent going to war or a national crisis, I don't think the President needs to be covered announcing a policy decision that most people honesty won't watch.
This is a major policy decision. I will have to respectfully disagree.

(72,790 posts)It should air on one. They can switch off every time a primetime speech is made, but I don't believe that a speech needs to air on every single station.
