Indianapolis newspaper alters, then deletes racist Thanksgiving cartoon following complaints

The Indianapolis Star first ran an offensive cartoon, then altered it (by simply removing a mustache!), then pseudo-apologized (in a "we're sorry if you were offended" vein).

The comment thread on their FB page includes a number of people canceling their subscriptions - over the editor issuing a weak apology. I guess they want the rag to stand by their cartoonist's racist sentiment as it echoes their own...

He's a racist anti-Obama bigot and the Indianapolis Star is a joke....a bad one, but still a joke.
