The legislative bodies of the white English speaking world are now led by right/center right political parties. With the election of the Republicans to both houses of Congress, we now join The UK, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia with conservatives in charge of our national legislators.
Anyone has any idea what's going on here?
Is this just a co-inky-dink? Or what?

(10,745 posts)If it weren't for the money, and the RW's constant bullshitting and lying not being taken on enough by the MSM, and the often illusory cooperation between even the mainstream Left, let alone the activist left, in pretty much all but the United States(at least here, it's mainly only the latter), pretty much every single one of these countries would be led by liberals right about now; Harper would be gone in Canada, and Julia Gillard would still be Australia's P.M.

I think the white, English speaking men have figured out how to game the system to their advantage. They are the minority any way you count.

(4,631 posts)One might wonder what difference it would make if they were the majority. What does the sum of such a count matter in a moving algorithm? Other than the random actions in an unpredictable world, everything else is based on feelings.
