Any Truth To Darren Wilson Meeting Privately With TV Journalists....

I heard that this cop is screening interviewers for an exclusive interview. I heard he might have met with Matt Lauer, Anderson Cooper and a few others. Has this really happened or was someone pulling my leg?

I would imagine they have been making attempts since the shooting hit the national news. Surely, his attorney has told him to keep his mouth shut???

And the networks are cutting a nice, fat check for his appearance...So he's probably sending out feelers to see who is offering what, and which networks are going to be the most sympathetic to his plight

The governor could still appoint a special prosecutor and the DOJ is still investigating Wilson for federal civil rights charges.

I assume he'll eventually do an interview, but not just yet, even of the state grand jury does not indict.

Also, my guess for the sympathetic interviewer would be Sean Hannity or Megyn Kelly, unless other networks are willing to offer significant remuneration.

Regardless of the outcome, Wilson is no doubt is looking at major legal bills. OJ wrote a book during his first trial, and I recall Monica Lewinsky's lawyer shopping around for a book deal.

I just do not believe that any interview will occur before all state and federal risk is eliminated.

However, the lawyers, agents or other representatives can certainly put out feelers as early as they believe is prudent.

Anderson Cooper tweeted that he met with him. Don Lemon and others have. Apparently this is arranged so that Wilson can see what they are like.
Betting money has him giving the first interview to Fox.

Not the other way around. Anderson cooper said Wilson declined to agree to an interview.

If he is indicted, which very well may be, he won't be interviewed by any reporters.
