Everything in Ferguson, MO locked down (image)

Memorial in front of police station

From what I'm seeing on Twitter, things don't look good.

Double and triple barricades being erected, Gov. Nixon meeting with Clergy before the decision is released.

I hope, if the decision is a "No Bill" that the protests are peaceful and make the nation look like a bunch of racist idiots expecting mayhem and violence on a grand scale.

9. They wouldn't be doing all of this unless there was no indictment.

They are taking precautions because they know the announcement is going to incite anger.

12. They started this overreaction before a decision had even been reached.

The decision was reached today. Presumably, the governor now knows the decision, but I don't think it would change anything.

And we still don't know.

It's almost as if they are wanting violence.

dignified. Even though most of the people on the streets do not expect an indictment.

I'm far more worried about the Riot Police who seem to create violent situations whenever they show up at any demonstration.

Last night, eg, the Police were the ones causing trouble.

They arrested a Reporter for doing his job, AFTER they lost their bid to NOT have themselves video-taped, in violation of that ruling.

What ARE they afraid of? If they are doing nothing wrong, they would WANT to be video-taped.

I'm worried about innocent, unarmed protesters being harmed by those with weapons, as happened during the OWS peaceful protests.

that one has to assume "No Bill" is coming.

Before the Rodney King verdict, I was worried that if the jury found any wrong doing by police, the LAPD would pull back and withhold services and let the city go to hell. They got nothing but "not guilty" and then pulled back anyway. They wanted riots.
