(3,194 posts)I've heard that will be the time. Still 3 hours away. Not exactly shortly, but early enough for a full evening of protests, etc.

(17,055 posts)The world will find out the fate of Officer Darren Wilson at 8 p.m. Eastern tonight. The grand jury hearing the case of Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown has reached a verdict and the St. Louis County prosecuting attorney will hold a press conference announcing the decision. Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon landed in St. Louis ahead of the announcement, and the city is gearing up for protests and possible violence.

(10,952 posts)any justice. The Governor should have grown pair, removed the local Prosecutor and had an Independent Prosecutor named. That would have at least give the appearance that a fair and impartial presentation would have been given to the Grand Jury. Instead, a lot of people figure that the process was rigged from Day 1.

(10,952 posts)had made a decision from the media.
Apparently the Prosecutor's office must not have bothered to tell them.
You have to wonder if they have given the Brown family even one iota of compassion and concern during this whole process.
It seemed the the Prosecutor's office was more concerned with covering up for Wilson.
So much for being an advocate for victims and their families.
