(129 posts)but I get the sense the cops are itching for a war. They just interviewed the St. Louis Police Officer's Association rep and said they didn't have peaceful protests yet, they it was just people trying to injure and murder cops. But that he was all for peaceful expression of 1st Amendment rights, until it wasn't and then the police needed to crack down.
Got the sense that if anything happens, the St. Louis PD is ready with the "it's all their fault" line.
This was of course followed by a commercial by a Priest calling for calm. Should be an interesting night.
