I don't care if Gov Nixon is a dem. He is a piece of shit that has not done anything to help the situation.

Threatening violence is NOT a peaceful protest to those that are defending them as protesters.

I don't blame the police in being prepared because it is likely there will be outside agitators They need to be ready for all contingencies. I just hate how they ramped up the fear. It just makes things worse.

Maybe they will bring an indictment against him, but I'm not holding my breath. I thought Zimmerman was going to be convicted.

them off. White anarchists from Chicago, as reported here in an article on DU by the local elected official who was arrested early on in the protests.

I just don't want them to protest in the dark, too much can be gotten away in the nighttime by troublemakers of that sort who hide in the shadows, start a ruckus and then clear out to leave the peaceful people to suffer. A lot of people can get hurt that way.

to the civil rights marches of the early 60s. That's what they called MLK and every other freedom rider that came in to protest the injustice of Jim Crow laws.

Those "outside agitators" are AMERICANS who are protesting the murder of a black kid for the sin of being black and the lack of justice FOR that murder. They are putting their asses on the line and facing the tear gas, rubber and (possibly) real bullets, AND threats from the KKK to "hang them with the chimps" in order to protest that murder. They are NOT "outside agitators". They are AMERICANS.
