Does anyone besides me think that those Secret Service agents

specifically made sure it was egregious enough they would get taken off the detail? I mean, call me a conspiracy theorist, but that's what I think. So they made sure to get "caught"...oh, my bad...take my lumps. Why? Well, for one thing, it is an election year. For another, I don't exactly see the trip to Colombia being a welcome thing for them. Especially for some of the most right wing of them. Also, what if they know something? Or else it is in someone's plan? Sorry, but I saw JFK and it sickened me, and from then to the present day there is only one family alive that has "seen it all" so to speak. Thoughts? Comments?

That is to say... fucking nuts.

It's impossible for me to wrap my mind around the notion that a group of agents would conspire in such a way as to agree that one of them would deny a Colombian "escort" (her words) the money she had "earned" in the morning when she had to leave and expected to be paid.

Who got the job of fucking a call-girl, stiffing her for her money, and the initial spotlight? The poor soul who drew the short straw on the plane down to Colombia?

You saw JFK? Excellent fiction that was.

I just meant that I saw it and it got my creative mind wondering. Besides, ultimately, the fact that someone got to JFK is a tragic fact. I'm just worried with all the heated rhetoric coming from the other side. I hear it and see it from some really nutty right wingers on my FB page and I really worry. And now the Nugent thing is just another dog-whistle to a "lone-wolf" or whatever the analogy is.

sorry if I left that impression here. I just know that Octafish and others somewhere here had some pretty impressive stuff...not sure where that all ended up, nor to I wish to open that up. I was using it more as a reference to my own creative mind...as a what if? moment.

Secret Service = Johns has been par for the course since 192....

Except this time, some jerk screwed up big time and wound up spilling the beans on everything. The SS hates him now; his and a few other heads will roll, but happily, the hooker will persevere and meet her future husband on Dancing With the Stars.

I hardly post here anymore due to complications from MS lesions in my brain and spinal cord. I have terrible cognitive impairment, especially as it relates to things changing/finding things. This group I wasn't aware of, but very cool, and exactly the kind of place I'd like to hang out in.

Better that they are gone. I hope they are fired - this wasn't a personal vacation, and I assume they are technically on duty 24/7.

We basically see how polarizing politics can be lately. Are they allow to be political... Remember they have to protect the candidate if he/she is Democrat or Republican.

BUT would an Agent risk his career to make a Democratic president look bad?

In fact, he was very, very high up and was a former president's number one agent. We attended a party at his house and I looked around and said, "'Jim', I'm the only Democrat here, aren't I?" He laughed and said, "Probably yes."

So, not only do they vote, they vote Republican. Having said that, I think most of them have pride enough in their work to protect the president, regardless of party.

He did say that Clinton was a pain in the ass because he was always wanting to go into a store or some other place on a whim.

I wouldn't think they set out to get caught. I think they thought that nobody would care, which is a bigger problem. There seems to a lack of professionalism with a lot of these agents. They don't seem to have nearly as much respect for protecting the President as I would expect. It takes a lot of working and extensive background checks that can take well over a year to go through the whole process. I don't know anyone who would risk being fired after all that, just to get off a detail. But then again I could be wrong.

I am always worried for and praying for this president, who has been transformative. I hope it is just me worrying too much. But, it is not without valid reason. There are bad actors who would do harmful things. Look at what happened to Gabby Giffords. Supposed lone wolf. Oswald. Supposed lone wolf. Now Nugent does his thing, worse than Rush imho, and puts out the lone wolf call to all who will see at his little forum, and of course the media publicizes it far and wide as I suppose they must, but it gets out to all kinds of people. Dad told me more than once "just remember son, they're not *all locked up.

There actions are more likely self-serving and built on an arrogance that we are too smart to get caught. With their clearances lost they have limited employment opportunities and those who are married have screwed up their marriages. This is a case of "stupid is as stupid does."
