GOP plotting to block DC's new pot law

Or, "Home rule: we only mean it if you don't actually use it"

http://thehill.com/regulation/225078-gop-plottting-to-block-dcs-new-pot-law

House Republicans next year will try to block Washington, D.C.'s, newly enacted law legalizing recreational marijuana.

Rep. Andy Harris said he "absolutely" intends to launch a push to dismantle the new law when Congress returns with an empowered GOP majority in the 114th Congress.

The Maryland Republican, who led the GOP's charge this year against a separate D.C. law decriminalizing the drug, said the newer legalization statute poses an even greater health risk for young people in the nation's capital.

"It's obviously even worse for D.C.'s teenagers and young adults than the decriminalization," Harris said Thursday.

try on their lunch hour. Hell, invite them for lunch. It MIGHT mellow them out enough that they will forget why they oppose this new idea.

I live in AK. But they are trying to stop recreational sales in my town, though. Idiots. We need a Wine and Weed Mixer for them. I know Boehner would come just for the Vino.

They are not pro weed. Kochheads is a play on crackheads. And I do not care what they say on paper. They also donate to the United Negro College fund. They are still not pro negro.

Why don't we drug test Andy Harris right now. It's always the righteous screaming repubs that end up getting busted for the issue they demonize others for.
