There is a vast, very well organized infrastructure that steals approximately 5% of the popular vote in every presidential election in favor of the republican candidate, has been since 2000, probably before that.

It gets worse everyday, long list of reasons why, all has to do with voter suppression.

I've been predicting for years that there will be a Bush/Clinton run, and I still predict it. If that happens, I think most of the country will look at that and go "WTF??" Whether they will get out and vote, who knows. It would be a watershed moment -- would people finally wake up and say they don't want dynasties, the same old thing over and over? his old man...who doesn't look in the best of health. If Senior doesn't pass in the next year or so, Jeb will probably go at it hot and heavy. If Senior passes, Jeb will pull out to oversee the family affairs.

I don't think Jeb's heart is in it and he sure can't be looking forward to all the bad points of the W administration, let alone the ghosts from his dad being brought to light. Some, we don't know about yet. Seeing all that family laundry hanging on the line can't be an incentive to dive into the fray.

On the other hand, the yearning for power overrides common sense so who knows?

I don't think Jeb will get very far in his attempt to become the next President.

We didn't forget about the 2000 Presidential election debacle in Florida.
And this time, Jeb can't rely on Katherine Harris, or the Supreme Court, the way George Dubya did.

Jeb is an accomplished liar, much smoother and much more polished than George Dubya ever was.
So, he may fool a lot of people early on, but he doesn't have any credibility left after 2000, in my opinion.
We've already had one too many Bushes in the White House anyway.

Unless the mainstream media gets behind him early next year, I don't think Jeb will be able to raise much money for his campaign.
A lot of things can change before 2016, of course, but I think the Republicans will have to pick someone else to be their nominee.
I think the main reason Jeb will have a much tougher time becoming their nominee is because of the knee-jerk reaction the GOP just had to President Obama's Executive Order concerning immigration reform.

I think the GOP party truly wants to appeal to more Mexicans/Latinos/Hispanics by 2016, but they are just too fucking racist to figure out how to get their votes.

Christie crashed and burned and the Republicans aren't going to let anyone from the Clown Car be the nominee so Jeb's their boy. Hillary's only support is from the Establishment Democrats (read Wall Street) and the Party Faithful. That's it. She won't have the rank and file and she absolutely will not have the independents.

Here's a silver lining though I'm pretty sure I'll be alone in this view but, if Jeb wins the General in 2016 that will pave the way for a Warren run in 2020. Just my opinion.

So, here's Jeb. His wife can never be a first lady. She lied to the feds about 20K in purchases she was bringing back into the U.S. from Paris. Jeb's been a big philanderer. Two of his children have been in the news in the past years for arrests linked to drug problems, public intoxication, and sex in public. (don't confuse the W's kids).

Then there is the family issue of robbing banks. One, the Silverado Savings and Loan, several ways into which many in the Bush family were involved, and also many politicians still in office today. Jeb, George Sr., and his son Neil Bush have all been implicated in the Savings and Loan Scandal, which cost American tax payers over $1.4 TRILLION dollars, one quarter of our national debt. One also thinks it's polite to take up the Asian hookers when presented.

Their grandfather worked for Hilter, and HW lied about working for the CIA. We were to believe this when he was chosen to head the CIA agency?

The entire family has been an "AMERICAN DISASTER'.

Then there is Jeb's Nigerian water pump bribery scandal back in the courts, just last year! Illegal immigration is an "act of love". (While attacking Obama today for his "overreach&quot

Let us not forget that Jeb Bush defaulted on a $4.56 million dollar loan from the Broward Federal Savings in Sunrise, FL. After federal regulators closed the S&L, the office building that Jeb used the $4.56 million to finance was reappraised by the regulators at $500,000.00, which Bush and his partners paid. The taxpayers had to pay back the remaining 4 million plus dollars, as in the past. This family robs banks and created a drug war to run drugs. Just read Barry and the Boys. Barry Seal flew planes for the CIA and ran drugs for HW and a few others.

So spare me if I'm a little sad to even THINK ABOUT ANOTHER BUSH RUNNING! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? US?

Must we put ourselves through this again? Or will the voting machines Jeb ushered in do it for us?
