Clinton’s noncommittal stance on environment creates political dilemma

Apres le salon pour Landrieu.

Hillary Rodham Clinton’s environmental problem was on full display in back-to-back events here Monday evening.

First, Clinton appeared at a private fundraiser for Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.), an embattled incumbent who favors construction of the massive Keystone XL oil pipeline opposed by environmentalists.

Just two hours later, Clinton appeared on a different stage to deliver a speech to the League of Conservation Voters — a mainstream environmental group that strenuously opposes Keystone.

would likely be at odds with each other. She won't really take a public stance unless pushed, and even then it would just be a stance, not how she would actually act if she were president.

Except there are some who have stated they will impose a self ban if Hillary gets the nomination.

"Clinton, who also stumped for Landrieu during the regular midterm campaign, addressed donors paying as much as $12,000 a ticket for cocktails at the home of a longtime Clinton supporter. The event was closed to the news media."

it is just as wrong when we do it… until the payola ends we are done, put a fork in us. climate change will not be addressed by paid off politicians. big donors are not smarter than the least of us even when it isn't just self interest "speaking".
