Indi (nee Peggy) ascends the stairs onto Air Force Two Nantucket Safe Harbor for Animals
Just call her Air Force Two Bud.

Peggy, a nine-month-old yellow Labrador mix found abandoned on the side of a Mississippi road and subsequently brought north to the Nantucket Safe Harbor for Animals in Massachusetts, was adopted last weekend by the family of Beau Biden, Delware’s attorney general and the son of Vice President Joe Biden.

The dog—whom the Biden family renamed Indi—left the shelter in vice-presidential style: aboard Air Force Two.

The Bidens spend every Thanksgiving in Nantucket, Mass., and the younger Mr. Biden and his family bumped into the dog while she was on a walk with her foster mother, wearing a bandanna bearing the words “adopt me,” said Pam Murphy, president of the shelter’s board.

5. Good that the Biden's chose a rescue,

and she deserves a nice ride after being abandoned and traveling so far to get a new home.
