An artist depicts Ferguson protests
Ron Van Swearingen's works appeared in the recent issue of an obscure magazine I subscribe to: American Art Review. These are 4 of a series of 8 paintings he made of unrest in Ferguson since the police shooting of Michael Brown. He's selling them as a collection -- hopefully to a museum. I thought DU art lovers might like to see them. I thought they were rather startling in their subject matter. He captures the mood. Sorry, I don't have a link as I scanned them myself.
