7. I had a "bush KNEW" bumper sticker in my back window

and MAN did I get the stink-eye from some middle aged white dick in a pickup truck in the next lane over, on the freeway. He stayed even with me for several miles looking daggers at me and trying to make eye contact. I could see enough of that rage in his face out of the corner of my eye so I never gave him the satisfaction. It was a little unnerving but I refused to give in. He finally got tired of trying to provoke me and veered off onto the transition road to the next freeway where he evidently was headed in the fest place.

Also had my car keyed and a tire slashed. Made me feel like finding even MORE bumper stickers to show off, just for spite. But then my daughter was in town and wanted to use my car. So I took them down for her sake. She's a non-combatant so I didn't want her at risk.

I live in a very red area in an otherwise blue state. I'd be afraid of jackasses like that doing things to my car like that.

that I've heard of many cars with liberals stickers being vandalized, but I can't recall hearing the same about cars with conservative bumper stickers.

about the guns! That makes them not only angry and petty, but potentially dangerous. They don't need no "stinkin' book-learnin' cuz they got GUNS"!

We all knew them as kids. They were the chronic schoolyard bullies, who never grew up.

As for "cave-men and cave-women", those were probably the kids who got bullied. More likely though, they are just politicians. So many lose their souls when they stay in political office for too long.

bumper sticker on my old car (it died about a month ago). Most of the responses I got concerning it were surprisingly positive considering that I live in MN-6.

Can't replace it - my wife won't let me put any bumper stickers on our "new" car.

I had two bumper stickers on the back of my car during the Iraq war - "My son is a U.S. Marine" and "Another military family against Bush". I usually got positive comments and car honks with a thumbs-up. I told one lady that I wasn't afraid that anyone would hurt my car because most of the people didn't have a loved one at war, so they couldn't challenge my patriotism.
