The other $100,000 is for Assange's head.
But it's still a hideous statue and a terrible idea.

Though I truly cannot understand why the Manning one looks two feet shorter than the others. Assange appears to be TOWERING over the others. 
Or Chelsea Manning may in fact be very short.

The style is what interests me. Very 1930's.
The finished product is probably going to be bronze, or something....but yeah, that is pretty Full-of-Himself. It's like the "A Team" or something....with BA Baracus (AKA Mr. T) wisely declining to join in any reindeer games!

Just think of their man in the White House doing their bidding and getting the power of the federal and state governments combined to harrass and intimidate Americans based on every tweet, message board post, etc.
How soon before the Limbaugh call for 'hunting liberals down with dogs' and 'the only liberals left will be saved as fossils' as a reminder to avoid such in the future, comes to pass. No one seems to mind the Koch brothers being able to use all information to control us more than just buying everything up would be.
The Stazi won't be in the hands of the government this time. There will be no government to regulate the corporations that do this, just a boot on the face with no redress.
