"The Interview" Sony Hacking

In the light of our horror at the torture perpetrated in our names, it is time to look at our cultural acceptance of cruelty and killing.
Regarding news of possible North Korean reaction to "The Interview," which is apparently a "comedy" about assassinating their leader, I have to ask why that would be funny? Even if an assassination was justified.
Our films such as "Django," our TV shows such as "24," and our various computer games are full of cruelty. We justify it on the basis of the "evil" that the victims represent.
Why are we surprised when unnecessary cruelty is condoned by some of our so-called leaders?
It's time to talk about this culture of ours. It can use some improvement.
