Raw Story: U.S. authorities crackdown on medical marijuana spots

The federal crackdown on state legalized medical marijuana facilities has grown to become a rising issue across the United States, as a new report from Al Jazeera documents.

California is an epicenter for the law enforcement crackdown despite being one of the dozen states to legalize medical marijuana, including a recent raid at Oaksterdam University in Oakland.

WATCH: Video from Al Jazeera, from April 21, 2012.

Yep, their policy is racist as hell, and it is their policy.

Guess he was too busy running guns to Mexico. Its OK to ship 2,800 AK's to gangs in Mexico... but their priority is to bust 75 year old cancer patients....

I would believe this conservative mindset if it was from the Republicans.. but it's hard to take when it comes from the Dems.

to fight terrorism and that he thinks that and other priorities came first. The people of Oregon will not forget that. Nor the people of CA, nor of CO, nor of WA.

Or is busting MMJ facilities the ‘Moderate” thing to do as President, as a show of good faith to the more conservative members of the party?

They don't understand that it's not 1992 anymore, and most of America supports things like marriage equality for LGBT citizens and pot legalization. But they will.

And they're not as out of touch as the GOP, who doesn't understand that it's not 1512 anymore, and most of America thinks birth control, blasphemy, and sex outside of marriage should likewise be Legal.

but all it takes is a handful of Regressive Democrats and we get continued GOP policies. We have been seeing it happen over and over again with this administration and congress.

That is the problem as I see it and many people refuse to admit it too.

From November 2011

"An overwhelming 77 percent of Americans believe doctors should be allowed to prescribe medical marijuana for serious illnesses while only 17 percent oppose medical marijuana according to an new CBS News poll.
Support for medical marijuana was strong across the ideological spectrum. 81 percent of both Democrats and independents approve of the idea of medical marijuana. While Republicans are the partisan group that is least supportive, there is still a solid majority of Republicans, 66 percent, who think doctors should be able to prescribe it."

It's not that "they" are Out of Touch with We, the People-They simply don't give a shit what we want or have to say.

They usually have to do some pretty in-depth reconnaissance & surveillance work including not only finding but looking in the phone book and using a disguised voice when calling the listed number to determine hours of operation. After a few weeks of around the clock work and once the detectives have been lauded enough for their exceptional dedication to the task, scores of heavily armored freedom protectors can be dispersed to the location to secure the area, scream obscenities and point large taxpayer funded guns at the lawbreakers. Thereby ensuring medals, accolades and promotions not to mention the continued safety of their impressive budgets.
