...and I'm heartbroken to think that, after decades of activism, we're at a place where Dem "leaders" have given up on pricing carbon, have given up on protecting the Gulf of Mexico (even after the worst environmental disaster in our history), have given up on bold intelligent messaging to combat the anti-science, corporate-whoring idiocy of the Republican party.

After working as a Democrat since 1970 I quit the party recently, for all the reasons stated above. Hope and change, my ass!

All that said, I cannot give up on the planet or our children.
