Where there is no vision, the people perish:

...but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29:18

What type of person are you looking for to run for President of our country?

Personally, I want a person with vision. A person that can define what we can be, rather than what we are, or are perceived to be.

I want a person that will recruit like-minded people to help him/her with a compassionate and progressive agenda. Someone that is like-minded on our trade policies. Someone that is like-minded on our defense policies. Someone that is like-minded on reform. Someone that is like-minded on social programs for our people. Someone that agrees with an increase in the minimum wage. Someone that believes in the Constitution and the rule of law. Someone that will denounce the illegal torture and unequal justice in our system of government. Someone that can unite our Party with a progressive agenda, both in our House and Senate.

If they cannot fulfill these few requirements, I would rather they not run, simply for their egos or personal fulfillment. I want someone that knows why they want to be President.

I would like to see conservatism stopped in it's tracks and a progressive movement take root.
By 2016 it should be clear that more policies that widen the income gap are not what we need.
I think that will be the key issue. Even the capitalists are starting to see that.

Only 2 people are speaking about that income gap. One has said he will more than likely run the other is in the Senate. I look forward to hearing what Hillary has to say but her comment about anti wall street rhetoric in light of the passage of omnibus bill makes me uncomfortable as far as I'm concerned. I support Bernie Sanders at this time.
