Cuban Five exchanged for American citizen Alan Gross

Funny how none of the American networks are discussing the exchange for the Cuban five.

<snip>

Held for five years in Cuba, 65-year-old American contractor Alan Gross has been released from prison and is en route to U.S. soil, ABC News has learned exclusively.

In a landmark humanitarian prisoner exchange to be announced by President Obama shortly at the White House, the agreement was reached following more than a year of secret back channel talks at the highest levels of both governments.

Today’s release of Gross, who is said to be in poor physical condition, represents a first step toward normalizing relations with the neighbor just 90-miles off the Florida coast

I'm so excited this is finally happening.

The fact that they released the Cuban prisoners was the long overdue recognition of the US wrongs toward the people of Cuba.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!

Comcast bought out GE's share in NBCUniversal nearly 2 years ago:

NBC Universal was formed in August 2004 by the merger of General Electric's NBC with Vivendi's Vivendi Universal Entertainment.[5][6] GE and US cable TV operator Comcast announced a buyout agreement for the company on December 3, 2009. Following regulatory approvals, the transaction completed on January 28, 2011. Comcast subsequently owned 51% of NBCUniversal while GE owned 49%.[6][7][8] Comcast intended to buy out the rest of GE's stake over the following seven years, but nothing happened until February 12, 2013, when Comcast announced its intention to complete the purchase all at once and assume 100% ownership of the company by the end of March.[9][10] The deal was finalized on March 19, 2013.[11]
