So were Rick Scott and Jeb Bush giving away food baskets when

MIAMI (WSVN) -- The wait is over for thousands of South Florida residents who lined up to receive a ticket that would bring their families a hot meal on Christmas.
the news on Cuba was announced
One more question - who gets these tickets - any connection to votes?

More than 100 people camped out in Little Havana Tuesday night, along West Flagler and 14th Avenue, to receive a CAMACOL Christmas food basket.

The basket giveaway began at 7 a.m. Wednesday. Governor Rick Scott and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush were present during the 29th annual charity event, helping to distribute food to families in need.

When asked about his run for president, Bush said that at this point he is not really thinking about much except being thankful over the holidays for his family and for the City of Miami. However when the holidays pass, Bush said he will begin touring the United States and listening to what people have to say about his campaign.

Last year, the Latin Chamber of Commerce fed 3,000 families. The event began in 1985 with only 30 baskets of food being handed out but has now reached 15,000 baskets. Earlier this month, CAMACOL handed out vouchers to 3,000 people who waited in line for days for their golden ticket.

The Chamber of Commerce and politicians can do it but how dare ordinary people feed the hungry.

They disgust me.
