By normalizing relations with Cuba...

The Cuban exile community most likely fears that its special snowflake of favored status with Right Wingers in this country is in dire danger of eventually melting.

That snowflake should have melted a long time ago.

So they're already marginalized at this point. It's all downhill from here.

edit: I should clarify, the pro-embargo exile community is now the minority, the anti-embargo or Cuban American community exists, and is the majority now.
