last weekend but then it was a little hilly where I was. It may also depend on who your carrier is and whether or not they have coverage in a particular area.

The golf course i play at is a small public place 60 to 65 miles south of Chicago. My wife's phone, my phone, and my company phone are all on different carriers. Not one of them works out there. Zero bars.

Yeah, that's starting to get into the rural areas, but at only an hour or so from Chicago, it doesn't count as the middle of nowhere.

So, i'd imagine there are lots of places like that.

...on MY side of the couch.
You know, the place where I would like to sit and talk on the phone.
I have to stand up to get a signal.
That's the ONLY spot in this whole damn town where I can't use my phone!

had to climb a mountain, pray and hold metallic shit for a two minute call.

Moved to LA and its obviously way better, but way more clogged and slow, though.

I pass through one daily to/from work. At the worst, in that spot I can walk to "the" gas station. And hope that it's during daylight when it's open. Otherwise I'm scrod.
