Steve Scalise, way to prove Mary Landrieu right about the South!

Back in the week before Election Day, Sen. Mary Landrieu of Louisiana caught flak for saying, "The South has not always been the friendliest place for African-Americans. It's been a difficult time for the president to present himself in a very positive light as a leader." Sources: AP and Times-Picayune

Well, guess what? When it turns out that one could associate with David DuKKKe yet still be elected to Congress from Louisiana AND serve in House leadership too, do you wonder why most Americans of color don't vote for Republicans? And yet Louisiana is full of people who buy into paranoid nonsense from right wing media/websites like "Obama: RADICAL MUSLIM! Eric Holder: BLACK PANTHER!" as well as negative associations of "La Raza" and "NAACP", and vote accordingly.
