Cinderella 2015 - I have a question.

This is a live action re-make of the animated feature, starring Lily James as Cinderella. I've seen some of the advertising stills and trailer, and it looks to me as if Lily James as Cinderella has been given a much smaller waistline than she has in her publicity stills.

Am I seeing something that is not there, or has Disney used clothing design and photographic technique to give the real CInderella the same waistline as the animated Cinderella?

No Cinderella here, but it makes the point:

Neat article, however the inclusion of Pocohantas is probably a mistake. FSogol Jan 2015 #2

In the real world, mice do not turn into horses and pumpkins into coaches. It may not be an animated movie, but it is still fantasy.

They used a live model and rotoscoping giving the character a more realistic form than most animated features. Pocahontas live action model was the beautiful Irene Bedard: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0065942/
