1. He spoke at our Democratic state convention last year.

He was brilliant. He spoke quite a bit about health insurance, and how Canada came to have the coverage they do. He also addressed problems he has had in his state with the large number of teabaggers they gave him to work with. He just got out his veto pen!

He is a brilliant guy. I hope he is President some day.

p.s. He understands the Middle East, and even speaks Arabic!

2. He spoke at ours a few years ago

I always considered him a DINO and was not about to pay $100 to hear him speak, although I did get roped in to going to Senator McCaskill's speech last year and she is just as bad.
