Joe Scarborough vs Bill Press ?

I used to watch Joe Scarborough, almost every morning, because he had interesting guests. Anymore it is about the most boring lineup you could imagine for morning television. It's the same suspects every morning. It's the same dialogue. It's the same discussion every day.

This morning, Bill Press had Eric Alterman on as a guest. It was a very interesting conversation about economic liberalism and social liberalism and the direction that liberalism is going. It is much more interesting than Morning Joe. For those that are still watching Mika and Joe, you may want to go up one channel on DirecTV, to 358, and check out the Bill Press Show?

Get a link to Current TV, if you've not seen Bill Press's morning show. It's done as radio from Washington, DC, so perhaps there is an audio feed.

I keep admiring the Current TV line up, which has been added to week-day mornings with 3 hours from Bill, followed by 3 hours by Stephanie Miller's live feed of her radio show.

Press is polished and a bit of an insider, but he's a pro. Stephanie, in her own genre is, too.

At least, that's what I think. Sorry I can't dig up a link, but I'll look for one.

I had access to that....I listen to XM in the mornings while Bill Press is on here 6am Eastern. I normally wouldn't object to Joe Scarborough, but all he does is interrupt everyone to try to get the higher word. His sidekick Mika comes across as nothing but a silent simp. Her counterpoints are nonexistent. She needs to take a lesson from her father.

Press by a knockout.

Current TV has a pretty good morning lineup with simulcasts of Bill Press and the Stephanie Miller program. It's also available at 215 on Dish Network.

I think the morning slot would have been better for Keith Olberman. He could have knocked Morning Joe off the air, in my opinion. The MSNBC evening schedule is pretty strong.

One would think MSNBC can see how its programming confuses the message - Morning Joe is the egg shell in their omelet; the prison shows burnt edges.

the Congressman who had a dead girl in his office.

Bill provides the progressive news and Joe does screes with a few F-words.

The only problem I have is Bills Press and Miss Stepane, I do not have children, I have big puppies Miller, being that they are doing a radio show leave a lot of dead time.

I'm not much more of a fan of Press. He's about on par with Ed Shultz, seems to be coming from a good place just not very interesting. My cable provider doesn't carry Current and my badgering doesn't carry much weight. I tune in to WBAI's Wake Up Call and Democracy Now.
