Any news on Matthew Owens, the guy in AL who was beaten

and his sister claimed one of the people doing the beating said "that's for Trayvon" as they walked away?

It has the feel of the girl with the "B" carved on her forehead- in other words, staged. I don't doubt someone beat the crap out of the guy. What I doubt is it was motivated by him being a white guy and the crowd wanting to beat ass in the name of Trayvon.

It pretty much disappeared after Fox News and the right wing websites carried it.

The "that's for Trayton," or whatever it was that the assailant supposedly said, was a red flag for me.

5. One guy has been arrested, possibly three more to follow.

The sister changed her story to add burglary..police are not buying it.

It looks like a mixture of unpleasant people. No winners here.
