I had her pegged as someone who never stuck her neck out, but it turns out that some of her positions are pretty controversial for, say, the 1700s:

(861 posts)Look, Manny, this is one area where Hillary is right not to be "controversial". If I may be so bold.
I liked her statement! Perfect tone.

(57,936 posts)comes out with this utterly uncontroversial tweet as if she was saying something profound and extremely controversial. It's funny. Hillary = overly cautious and not very profound. This tweet shows it.
All of us agree with Hillary on this topic. Hillary is as usual just repeating banalities. It would be something great if she proposed to provide free vaccinations for all American children at taxpayer expense. That would be a great idea.
In fact, I do not understand why someone doesn't point out that vaccinations should and probably are covered by the ACA, Obamacare. And that is great.

(111,245 posts)and with good reason. We just don't need another Third Way president.
Actually, I'm delighted this seems to be shaping up along party lines, the party that allowed the banksters to run riot and crash the economy in 2008 are now proposing letting deadly disease run riot--at least among the 99%--so they can return to the glory days of having half the children in this country die before reaching adulthood. That's going to make a lot of the churchy people look at their kids and wonder who has their interests at heart.

Nothing to fear from that statement.
Sometimes people go out of their way to criticize her for no reason.
