Secret service advance teams will now have "Monitors".

According to CBS News just now.
Monitors.
Curfew?
Bed check?
And who will monitor the Monitors?
It is to laugh.

New rules on consumption of 'adult beverages' prior to going on duty.
Much more stringent that the 'old rules'.
What was the 'old rule'?
Don't show up for work drunk?
A mild hangover is acceptable?

Taking foreign nationals to your hotel room is now strictly verboten.
It wasn't already?
jeez

Support teams will have "Chaperones".
Kinda like the Senior Prom?
You couldn't make this stuff up.

Jon Stewart, Steven Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, and Dave Letterman now have material for at least the next six weeks.

Ain't this a great country?

"Ah, but who’s to guard the guards?" Juvenal asked.

This situation, trof, has been material for satire for at least two millenium. But I'm sure the late night hosts will make great use of it.

Black suits, black glasses, black belts.
Ready (and entirely willing) in a flash to take a bullet for POTUS, no matter who he (or she?) is.
Speaking into wrist watches and lapels.
Always on top of the situation.
Well...there was that ONE time in Dallas.

And now it turns out they're subject to the same testosterone driven needs and desires the rest of us males have.
Who knew?
I'm shocked.
SHOCKED, I say!

The SS should be well behaved and not out willy nilly screwing around with hookers and getting drunk. We have a president to protect, not a fucking party.
