I believe it is the Clinton wing that resides under the auspices of the Democratic Party, specifically DLC/Third Way, that constitutes the moderate rightwing, not the Democratic Party per se.

Not that an insurgency couldn't be successful in moving the party back to the left, if there really were no hope that that could happen I wouldn't be here. That is in fact the only hope.
