Unlike some, even as a privileged white, middle-classed teenager in Uni, I was utterly repelled by Ayn Rand's "philosophy".

but she is an even worse writer. Her books shouldn't have ever been published. Not, because I disagree with them. But, if she had written something I agreed with I would say the same thing. Her work is devoid of talent, it is a poor vehicle for expressing ideas. So, actually if I agreed with her I would hate her work even more, because I would think such fine ideas deserve a better platform of expression.
