My sister read the thread on her comments regarding the new "Forward" video. Here's what she said.

First, she told me she has not joined DU because of some technical glitch with her Mac (silly sister). But she wanted to respond to some of the comments, and asked me to post this....

"This is the, um, warm sister responding. Shame on me, I ought to have remembered that While England Slept was by Churchill: razor wit and a steel backbone, just my type.

I did not say nor did I mean to imply that anyone who dislikes Obama is ignorant, fearful or racist, but that people who are only willing to get their 'information' from Fox News, Limbough, etc. are. As a friend of mine overheard, "I never read the editorials, I'm afraid they'll change my mind."

I'm very disappointed that Guantanamo is still open, that we're still in Iraq and Afghanistan (despite ostensible troop pullouts) and Iran may well be next, that we only intervene in countries which have oil, that Obama gave away so much in health care reform and Wall Street reform. He is not my dream president. But he has accomplished a lot more than he gets credit for, especially considering what a disaster he inherited and the Party of No.

And the alternative is unthinkable."

Thanks for all the replies and rec's.
