Pakistan’s FO summon US diplomat; protest over drone attack

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) on Monday summoned United States (US) Political Councilor Jonathan Prott and protested over the yesterday’s drone attack in Miranshah area of North Waziristan, a tribal area of Pakistan bordering Afghanistan.

The officials at Foreign Office told the diplomat that the drone attacks inside the territory of Pakistan were violations of International laws.

It is to be mentioned here that on Sunday at least three people were killed and several others injured when a US missile hit a house in Miranshah area of North Waziristan.
