Sure BHO is using OBL, almost like OBL used Bush

In other words, BHO is dangling his death before the electorate as a success, much like the one Bush offered his puppetmaster OBL with the failures he sought, making Bush's reelection the icing on his 9/11 cake, which subsequently helped him with his goal of bankrupting us/killing us economically in part due to Bush using SH to polish his "war president" credentials.

“Bin Laden certainly did a nice favor today for the President,” said deputy CIA director John McLaughlin in opening a meeting to review secret “strategic analysis” of the videotape, according to Ron Suskind’s The One Percent Doctrine, which drew heavily from CIA insiders.

Suskind wrote that CIA analysts had spent years “parsing each expressed word of the al-Qaeda leader and his deputy, [Ayman] Zawahiri. What they’d learned over nearly a decade is that bin Laden speaks only for strategic reasons. … Today’s conclusion: bin Laden’s message was clearly designed to assist the President’s reelection.”

Jami Miscik, CIA deputy associate director for intelligence, expressed the consensus view that bin Laden recognized how Bush’s heavy-handed policies – such as the Guantanamo prison camp, the Abu Ghraib torture scandal and the war in Iraq – were serving al-Qaeda’s strategic goals for recruiting a new generation of jihadists.

“Certainly,” Miscik said, “he would want Bush to keep doing what he’s doing for a few more years,” according to Suskind’s account.

And of course, all of us troop-hating, terrorist-loving lefties remember quite well the way the way the millions of dead and displaced Iraqis were used in the 2004 campaign, based on the amount of soap money they spent washing their purple fingers off during and after their convention that year alone.

I suppose it's not okay to note getting the head of the guy Bush quit thinking and worrying about after he became an unindicted war criminal himself, but okay to make the death and displacement of millions of Iraqis the big dishonest deal they did.

The diff between "bragging" over the death of OBL and using those that followed the immoral and illegal invasion of Iraq is exactly what I'd ask, their repective numerical values notwithstanding?

1. When the OBL video hit on Friday before the election in 2004 it was obvious

what was going on. Daddy Bush has lots of connections with Saudi Arabia. It was probably easily done. Whereas Bush needed OBL, OBL needed Bush to keep his people fired up against the Satan America.

The overarching point of course, is the notion that Bush could use the use of force in deposing SH as a politcal football to showcase his CiC credentials, that they are now trying to deny BHO in the case of OBL.
