Bwaaahahahaha! I just realized this

Today is the one year anniversary of when we went in and got Bin Laden, but...do you know what other event also happened today???

Today is also the anniversary of when Dumbya donned a codpiece, landed on the USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN, announced the "end of major combat operations in Iraq (2003), and appeared before a huge banner declaring "Mission Accomplished".

Not only did President Obama succeed in getting Bin Laden, where Shrub had failed, but he did it on the anniversary of Dumbya's famous "dress-up and play soldier" moment.

If Democrats played hardball like Repukes, they would be all over the media today to point out the contrast in those two "signature" events.

Suck it Repukes! Your guy played games...this President gets the job done...and he doesn't need a codpeice to highlight his Big Stick.

Repukes are strong on National Defense???? I say Bull-Shit!

from a middle of the road station. This is how they reported the story on WGN radio :

President Obama is taking credit.

The politicians are fighting about who is to take credit.

RMoney said that even President Carter would have killed bin ladin.

mcccain said "heros don't brag"

hmmmm who owns the news?
Don't kid yourself, this is going to be a tough election. Chicago is VERY blue.

But with the "liberal" media on our side...

I'm calling my local radio station (wingnut central) to point out the contrast between "mission accomplished" and "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!"

Recommend we all do that as well.

What you gonna do to top that? Fade into oblivion? Oblivion. That's a nice place for GWB and Cheney to be.

There would be military parades today that would put the organizers of the Soviet Red Square events to shame.

And if a Dem presidential candidate had said something similar to what Romney did, they'd be calling for his arrest and waterboarding.

That was 9 years ago. That would be like Bush referring to the 1994 Republican congressional victory on the aircraft carrier in 2003. It's old news at this point. Bringing up Bush can't help Obama anymore.

I actually think focusing on Bush would be a bad strategy for Obama. It would look like he's living in the past and trying to win political points from an event that is a distant memory. He and his team know what they are doing. They do this shit for a living.
