Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney can't even grab some pizzas without being reminded of how he treated his dog nearly 30 years ago.
As Romney exited Joe's Pizza carrying a stack of pizza boxes in New York City on Tuesday, somebody on the sidewalk shouted, "Just don't put 'em on the roof of the car," according to a tweet from Reuters reporter Sam Youngman.

(82,849 posts)I'd really be torn about whether this would be a good time to tap the "We Reserve the Right to Refuse Service to Anyone" sign behind the cash register when Mitt and Rudy came up to place their order. Or maybe I'd institute a new policy that says multi-millionaire leeches on society have to pay a slightly higher price.
I know it's just a snapshot, but Mitt doesn't look like he's having a whole lot of fun anymore.

(107,920 posts)Let me guess. The fact that he's carrying three is his attempt to look like a regular guy.

(14,549 posts)and then he can enjoy a nice discussion there.
Edit to add: the headline implies that it is coverage, the "story," of Mitt's actions that he is being heckled about. No. It is the fact that he did it. See how much softer it sounds than "Romney heckled over mistreatment of his dog" ?

(12,287 posts)with pizza? Is this legal in New York? Maybe if he gets enough of these charges under his belt, someone will actually charge him. It was illegal in WI and all we get is "we'll look into it" - people have been charge for it here in WI for things like packs of gum.
